All of our PTC Creo Elements/Direct Modeling solutions and assistants have been updated. Download the latest patch 7.0.7 now and benefit from the improvements.

In addition to general bug fixes and stability improvements, the following main things have changed in our Apps for PTC Creo Elements/Direct Modeling:

SolidPipe - New function Connect

A new function Connect is available in SolidPipe. With this function, pipes of different diameters can be connected with a transition piece easily and with just a few clicks. The new Connect function even supports pipes of different shapes, such as a transition piece between a rectangular pipe and a round pipe.

SolidSteel - NC data export

With SolidSteel, NC data can be exported in DSTV format. All parts are analyzed and the profiles and sheets with all machining operations are transferred accordingly to the production data. So far it has been possible that countersunk holes were placed on the opposite side in top view. This has been fixed in the new version.

SolidSteel - end plates

When creating individual end plates in SolidSteel, auxiliary sketches were displayed for support. Two of these sketches had errors, which have been fixed with the new patch. This means that you can again fully rely on SolidSteel's support in the design process.

PART Assistant Integration

Up to now it happened that when using bolts in other Klietsch Apps for PTC Creo Elements/Direct Modeling the bolts were not placed if the PART Assistant was disabled. In the new version 7.0.7 of all Klietsch solutions, a message now appears and the user can react directly and enable the PART Assistant accordingly.
